Seeking Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers, 18 or older, to join our department. Experience and certifications are a plus, but not required. All necessary training is provided.
If you are interested in seeing what it takes to become a firefighter, and are interested in serving your community, join us every Tuesday at 6:30 PM at station 110 in China Grove, or contact Chief Mike Winfield at (210) 859-2410.
Emergency Alert Notifications
Regional Emergency Alert Network (REAN) is a FREE Emergency Notification tool for ALL citizens of Bexar County. This system uses the Bexar Metro 911 landline database for emergency notifications. The cell phone and email information that you provide, gives emergency responders more options for reaching residents and businesses in the Bexar County area.
Public Appearance Requests
Are you interested in having our department make an appearance at one of your events? Click below to fill out a Public Appearance Request Form. Once complete, your request will be submitted for review. All requests for appearance must be made at least 20 days prior to the date of the event. Burn Ban in Effect
The countywide burn ban for the unincorporated areas of Bexar County has been reinstated, prohibiting all outdoor burning of any kind. As a reminder, outdoor burning of any kind is prohibited per City Ordinance within the City Limits of China Grove. All burning within the City Limits must be approved and a permit obtained prior to burning.
