The Training Division is responsible for overseeing all training and continued education and the maintenance and renewals of all Fire and EMS certifications. China Grove Fire & Rescue participates in the training and certification program offered by the State Firefighters' and Fire Marshals' Association of Texas. This program allows us to provide professional fire protection and suppression training to all of our members.

 

The majority of our firefighters are certified through the State Firefighters' and Fire Marshals' Association. We also have firefighters certified through the Texas Commission on Fire Protection. At minimum, China Grove Fire & Rescue personnel are trained in CPR/AED/First Aid by the American Heart Association. We also have members who are certified as Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics through the Texas Department of State Health Services.
